One pack ships with every system. During a rehab block you will want two, so the first goes back in the freezer while the second runs.
- Icing more than once a day. Rehab schedules calling for three sessions leave no room to refreeze.
- Replacing a worn pack. Packs that split, leak, or stop holding cold through a full session.
- A spare at the office. One pack at home, one in the freezer at work.

Setup takes under a minute, and every compression setting runs the same fifteen minutes.
